Lori Jenner

Lori Jenner is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and Colorado who has 16 years’ experience working with children, teens and their families.  Lori has experience in working with a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, life transitions, mindfulness, stress, academic and work issues, anger management, self-injurious behaviors, self-esteem, parenting and grief and bereavement.  In addition to graduating from Johns Hopkins University in Counseling, she has also received a post-master’s certification from JHU in counseling At-Risk Youth.  Lori also worked as a School Counselor during the past 16 years and has the knowledge and insight to navigate school issues.  Lori believes that the most effective counseling relationship uses client-centered, CBT and strength-based treatments that are personalized for each client’s personal goals, strengths, barriers and needs.  She thrives in providing a supportive and engaging counseling partnership in which clients play an active role in their own process to develop a healthy, happier life.
