Tamara Stirling

Tamara is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree from Governer’s State University and her master’s degree from the University of Illinois. She has provided counseling services for over 15 years. Tamara treats elders (65+), adults, and teens (13+). She specializes in alzheimer’s, anger management, anxiety, chronic illness, depression, grief, life transitions, postpartum, school issues, self-esteem, spirituality, and transgender. She is an LGBTQ ally and utilizes acceptance and commitment, cognitive behavioral, compassion-focused, and positive psychology treatments. Tamara believes the key to successful treatment is helping empower her patients by exploring and filling their own personal “toolbox” of strategies to help them cope with and overcome whatever they may be experiencing.
