Maria Rolon

Maria Rolon is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico and her master’s degree from InterAmerican University. She specializes in children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions/adjustment disorders, women’s issues, and trauma-related disorders. She utilizes a trauma-informed approach and includes cognitive behavioral interventions (CBT, DBT, ACT), mindfulness, and psychoeducation to support her patients to achieve their therapeutic goals. She understands that while seeking help can be challenging, it can lead to change and growth, for her is important that her patients feel safe and listened to. Maria frames the conceptualization of the client’s needs under an eco-systemic approach. She’s culturally oriented and an LGBTQ+ ally.
